Cable World

Melissa Buhl saw me with the dogs, and stopped to say hello. She has a French Bulldog as well, and is a big fan of them. She was really nice and friendly. Spent lots of time with Bella and acknowledged her each time she saw the dog. I guess she is too good for her good, as a couple of the kids yelled out some not so kind words as she was racing 4x. She got beat by Jill in 4x. She got beat off the start, and cased it a little toward the end in the rhythm section, and ended up third.

Tood a picture of her with Bella. She wanted a copy of it, so I emailed it to her. The picture came out decent. Forgot to take the camera, so I used my Razr.

She stopped right in front of me to fix her bike. Her mechanic told me that her drive train is brand new, and the person didn't it up correctly, especially with the limit screws.

She was riding her hardtail. Looked just like a BMX bike. She also had her new Intense Tazer with her. Her mechanic told me she hadn't much time on it, so the hardtail.

Stopped by in the afternoon on Saturday. Pretty good showing, with lots of booths. Ran into Lisa/Intense. Caught some of the DH practice, and saw the 4x Final. Eric Carter looked the smoothest of all the 4x guys. But he got taken out in the final when someone ran into his rear tire. Melissa Buhl got beat in the women's final, with Jill Kintner winning.

Did Tunnel in Santa Barbara with 6 others at Tunnel Friday. Irmina organized the outing. Lisa, Will, Steve, Shiver Me Timers (Bob) and Scott (?) showed up. Reinjured my wrist again, so I ended up being the limo driver. Stopped for Mexican food afterwards.
